100 files missing, 10 Crore released before EC collapse: Latiplang 1

Shillong: KHADC CEM bah Latiplang Kharkongor today while speaking to news persons said that more than 100 files relating to renewal and new trading license files from trade branch were missing.

The CEM said, his EC will constitute an inquiry into this. The chairman of KHADC bah Pynshngain N Syiem said in relation to the Mobilisation fees a cheque of 10 crores was released on the 20th November a day when the EC collapse. Syiem questions why a hurry to release? This is a serious matter that merits investigation and filing a FIR to the police.
