Shillong: 4 Congress MDCs from Garo Hills District Council joined ruling National Peoples’ Party (NPP).The four MDCs are, Ismail Marak, Mark Goera B Marak, Kenadic S Marak and Rupert Sangma.
With their joining, NPP increased to 25 out of the 30 members Council and Congress is reduced to just four.
