Abandoned baby girl rescued near ITI Rynjah, Shillong

Abandoned baby girl rescued near ITI Rynjah, Shillong 1

Shillong: The District Child Protection Unit Lachumier today informed that on the 7th of February a baby girl was abandoned near ITI Rynjah which later was rescued by the Unit. Right now the baby is with the Lawei Baphyrnai, Specialized Adoption Agency, Shillong.


Therefore, the DCPU publicly announced that the relatives of the baby should contact the Unit or Child Welfare Committee, Lachumiere, or Lawei Baphyrnai, Specialized Adoption Agency Nongthymmai on these numbers: 0364-250 2310 or 9612760415.
If no one claims the baby, the DCPU is entitled to adopt as per its policy.
