Shillong: The East Jaintia National Council (EJNC),one of the NGO in East Jaintia Hills District, which is under the umbrella of the Confederation of Social Meghalaya Organisation (COMSO), has voice a strong protest that one of its’ MP Agatha K Sangma,MP of the NPP has supported the Citizenship Amendment Bills 2019.

 The EJNC has question the NPP for being in two sides, to oppose and supported the bill.

The EJNC has demanded from the Chief Minister and National President of the   NPP to clarify why the NPP is playing politics with the State as a whole, Said Bah Sambormi Lyngdoh President EJNC.

The EJNC condemned the BJP Government at the Centre for bulldoze our fundamental right of the indigenous people’s by introducing the CAB.
