Shillong: Assam beat Meghalaya by 6 wicket in the Vijay Hazare Trophy plate group in Dehra Dun.


Meghalaya won the toss and elected to bat first, but they finished the inning with the score of only 100 runs in 34.5 overs.

Wallam Lyngdoh Kynshi replace Raj Biswa while Punit Bisht take over the Captaincy from Biswa. Tengchan Sangma replace Larry Sangma in the squad.
Only Ravi Teja 51 run brought some honor for the team. While Roshan Alam take four wickets (4/25)
Meghalaya will face Chandigarh on Wednesday.
