Assam failed to put Boundary Pillar in Ri Bhoi District 1

Shillong: The Assam Government encroachment tactic in Pahambarngi Barapathar in Umtyrnga Ribhoi District has failed when there is strong opposition from the local peoples’ and arrival in time of the District Administration under the supervision of the Magistrate of Nongpoh Bah H.K Thabah and the Police of Pilangkata.

The official from Assam enter the village of Pahambarngi Barapathar, kaba hap ha Umtyrnga Ribhoi District under the guidance of the Magistrate, Kamrup along with the Assam Police accompany by 10 bus of 400 CRPF (Male & Female) and the Rapid Action Force and Staff of Survey Land Record Department, Government of Assam.


This land belong to kong Lumlang Shylla and others which have upto 12 acres of land according to the survey of the Guahati Municipal Cooperation and the main aim for the Assam Government is that they will use for carbage but the soon arrival of the Magistrate of Nongpoh and the Police from Pilingkata and the strong opposition from the local, the Kamrup team from Assam has stop the boundary pillar.
