The SHCDM placement programme is an effort by the Meghalaya State Skill Development Society with Managed Services Operating Partners IPE Global and the Confederation of Indian Industries. Its sole purpose is to identify qualified youth from within the state and enable them to meet with various company recruiters from across the country. These companies come job sectors which include the service industry, healthcare, hospitality, telecom, BPO & KPO, Business Solutions, E-Com and Retail. What differentiates it from other placement programmes though is the fact that there are almost 5000 vacancies to be filled across the country.
