CAB Passed, Black Day: NESO

Shillong: After the controversial ‘Citizenship Amendment Bill 2019’ (CAB)  was passed in ‘Rajya Sabha’ on the 11th December, 2019 the North East Students’ Organisation (NESO) termed it a Black Day for the North East and condemn the government of India on this. This will be remembered in times to come.
NESO is a conglomeration of students pressure groups including  Khasi Students’ Union (KSU), All Assam Students’ Union (AASU), Mizo Zirlai Pawl (MZP), Tripura Students’ Federation (TSF), All Manipur Students’ Union (AMSU), Garo Students’ Union (GSU), All Arunachal Pradesh Students’ Union (AAPSU) and Naga Students’ Federation (NSF).
