Shillong: Despite bad weather, lakhs of faithful from different parish of the Catholic Church attended the procession that held every year, which include the faithful from Jowai and Nongstoin Diocese.

In the morning the Holy Mass was performed by Cardinal Charles Maung Bo SDB,DD Archbishop, Yangon Myanmar. Others present are Archbishop Emeritus MC Thomas SDB, DD of Guwahati, Bishop John of Itanagar Diocese, Bishop Victor Lyngdoh of Jowai Diocese and other priests.
In his speech Cardinal Charles Maung Bo told the faithful today “That God want’ us as Christian to received whatever that has happen in our life”
