
Shillong: Government of Meghalaya yesterday took a decision to hike taxi fares in the state given the rising price of basic commodities. This is conveyed by the Home Minister James K. Sangma.
He said, from the price laid in 2011

The minister also informed that the government approves the Meghalaya Lokayukta Rule 2019, also signed by the governor since 2014. With this, Lokayukta will be fully functional.
