From Colony to a village status for Moopyniein demanded 1

Shillong: The colony or the dong Moopyniein met the Doloi of the Elaka Jowai to asked recognized dong Moopyniein as the village status under the act ‘The Jaintia Hills Autonomous District (Establishment of Elaka and Village, Appointment, Power, Function and Jurisdiction of Doloi/Sirdar and Waheh Shnong Act) 2015 under the clause 20 of the act.

The letter was addressed to the Doloi, Elaka Jowai and to the Chief Executive Member,JHADC, Bah Thombor Shiwat and to the four Executive Member, The peoples’ of Dong Moopyniein, Wapungskur is under the Elaka Jowai in West Jaintia Hills District has residesed here right from the olden days, so they are entitled to get the village status.

This letter was handed over to the Doloi, Elaka Jowai was signed by Cheerful Ryngkhlem the Chairman of the Dong Moopyniein,Wapungskul and Deibormi L Rymbai Secretary, Dong Moopyniein, Wapungskur.
