From12 February, CoMSO will implement ILP in the State 1

Shillong: Yesterday was when the sit-in-Demonstraction which lasted for 4 days concluded. But the Confederation of Meghalaya Social Organisation (COMSO) vowed to start implementing the ILP in the state from the 12th of this month.

This is announced by the COMSO president bah Robertjune Kharjahrin who said that Volunteers will be appointed at checkpoints.
While at police infiltration points, its volunteers will be placed to help the police. This means that no one will be given entry to the state without legal documents.
Kharjahrin said that his organisation is forced to do this because the government failed to deliver its promises. He urged all village headmen and their durbars to cooperate by maintaining vigilance. Contractors are warned not to engage labourers from outside the state to prevent infiltration.
