I lost only with a margin vote to bah Teinwel: Batyngshain 1

Shillong: The Congress candidate from Shella bah Batyngshain Laitmon Ryngnga claims that in the last MDC election he lost to bah Teinwell Dkhar UDP with only a small margin of 200 votes.

He told yesterday to newsmen after filing his nomination paper in the SDO (civil) Office, Sohra. He said, “in the last MDC election the fight was with (L) Dr. Donkupar Roy the man behind the victory of bah Teinwell Dkhar but I lost with only a very small margin”. Hence, he said “Now this time I am very confident to win. The second position I secured last election will inspire the voters in the constituency especially those in Umniuh, Nongjri and others within the Nongshken MDC Constituency to once again support me especially that they want change. “
At the same time bah Batyngshain rejects the rumours doing the round that kong Grace M Kharpuri contest as independent because she was denied ticket by Congress. He said that it is her own free will, therefore, this will not affect him.
He said, “I have deep respect to kong Grace Kharuri, and have no ill feelings for her leaving the party. Her candidature will not affect mine as a huge portion of the Shella constituency is in the Nongshken with over 4000 votes while another 25 thousand votes is in the Shella constituency region, where I also did well last election.
.
Escorting bah Batyngshain in filing nomination were also bah Wilfred Khyllep apart from other Congress MDCs of KHADC.
the candidate promised that if elected his first and foremost job was to bring road infrastructure development which is the backbone of the economy in the area.
