Shillong: Conrad Sangma, Chief Minister of Meghalaya went to see the gutted building by himself yesterday which has claimed two human lives and a dog.

It may be mentioned that there is a public cry on the alleged delay and negligence of Fire Service personnel otherwise lives could have been saved.

The Qualapatty,headman, Bah Martamlin Pyrbot has said publicly that there was a delay of the Fire Service to arrive. It is on this point that the Chief Minister wants to set an inquiry because that is a very serious case that needs to be dealt with.
Sangma also visited the bereaved family who have lost their beloved ones to such fateful incident.
