KSU to continue with protest against CAA 1

Shillong: The Khasi Student Union (KSU) has reiterated that it will not rest and it will continued to protest against Citizenship Amendment Act 2019 (CAA).
Apart from this the KSU has urged the Meghalaya Government to put pressure on the centre to implement the Inner Line Permit (ILP) in the State.

Just recently the Meghalaya Assembly has unanimously passed a resolution to implement the ILP in the State.
The KSU Sohiong Circle on the 20th December 2019 has organized a public meeting to protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act 2019 (CAA) and demand the implementation of Inner Line Permit (ILP) from the centre.

At this Public Meeting, the General Secretary, KSU, Donald V Thabah was present at the meeting. After the meeting the KSU has burnt the effigy of Narendra Modi, Amit Shah and Agatha Sangma.
