KSU will keep on protesting CAA

Shillong: The Khasi Student Union yesterday, in its General Executive Council held at Jaiaw shyiap Lumpyllon Comunity Hall and attended by members from all the units and circles have reiterated its vow to up the anti-CAA protest.


As a member of the NESO the KSU has filed a petition against the Act with the apex Court oof India and the hearing is scheduled to be held on the 22nd of January, 2020. Until that time, the protest and the awareness campaign will continue. This is made clear by the KSU president, Bah Lambokstar Marngar.


The KSU urged the Meghalaya government to speed up the process of getting the Centre’s ILP notification and the implementation of the MRSSA.
