Muaythai’s debut pro-Championship in the State 1

Shillong: Muaythai Association of Meghalaya (MAM) will organize its first ever Meghalaya State Level Muaythai and Pro Championship 2019 from 24th -26th October, 2019 Shillong.

President bah Angelus Sunn speaking to media persons said that this championship will be played in three categories: Amateur, Elite and Pro Fight.

the President also confidently hope that 500 players will participate. He also said that MAM placed a request to the state government through the Sports Department to help financially as the estimated expenditure will be not less than three lakhs of rupees.
It must be mentioned that MAM was formed on the year 2016 and it is three years running now. The founders are very optimistic that this sport will even qualify for the
Olympic 2024.
