Shillong: In the interest of public safety and convenience, the Superintendent of Police, East Khasi Hills District has imposed the following Traffic Arrangements with immediate effect from 1st November, 2019.

The stretches of road are as follows:-

  1. The “Jackson Trace Road” (One-Way Road), Lower Lumparing starting from St. John Church, Laban upto Dorbar Hall, Lower Lumparing will be a “No Parking Zone” in view of narrow road and causes obstruction to Emergency Services.
  2. The “Streamlet Road”, Laban starting from Dhobighat Bridge upto Red Cross Junction road will be “No Parking Zone” in view of two-way road.
  3. The Rilbong road starting from Garrison Bridge upto MGCC building will be “No Parking Zone” in view of narrow and two-way road.
  4. Due to narrowness of the Captain Clifford Nongrum road at Oxford Hills which is also a one-way road, “No Parking” will be enforced from Oxford Hills Transformer point upto Dunoon Compound road.
