NPP passed resolution to oppose CAB 1

Shillong: The National People’s Party (NPP) has passed the resolution to oppose the Citizenship Amendment Bill. This was taken at the ‘National Executive Meeting’ which held on the 30th November in New Delhi.


At the meeting under the Leadership of Conrad K Sangma,Chief Minister Meghalaya, others present in the meeting are Dy. Chief Minister, Prestone Tynsong, Minister Home, James Sangma and Dr. D.D Lapang and others top NPP leaders.

In the meeting, NPP Chief Conrad K Sangma said that the party has decide to opposed the Bill and if this Bill is passed in the entire NE Region it will really affect us as indigenous peoples’.
