Shillong: Today the Chief Minister, Conrad K. Sangma express confidence that the Governor will sign the Ordinance of the Meghalaya Residents Safety and Security Act file sent by the government. There is no issue to doubt it, he said.


In relation to a comment that tourists need not register for entry Sangma said, once they understood the purpose and benefits they will not have problem to register. This they used to do in hotels, through this Act they will do with the government which will be good for them, he said.
