Power house repairing works behind massive power cuts: Dy.CM

Shillong: The people of the state is currently facing massive power cuts as they brave winter chill. The Dy. Chief Minister, bah Prestone Tynsong appeals to the people to bear with the government for few more days as the two power house at Kupli and Tripura are undergoing repairing works.

Tynsong also reminds that NTPC the summer power store house could no longer release power in winter unlike in the past. This adds to the power shortage in the state apart from the 50MW deficit due to the repairing works in the said stations. He also clears doubts on NEEPCO saying that it is giving no problem at all.
