Prestone and UDP at Nongjri Mawkliaw, campaigning for Balajied 1

Shillong: Barring Sunday only three days left, so candidates up their campaign strength covering all villages under the Shella Legislative Constituency by-poll scheduled on the 21st of this month.


Campaigning for Bah Balajiedkupar Synrem, son of Late Dr. Donkupar Roy UDP along with NPP top brand leader Bah Prestone Tynsong met the voters of Mawkliaw and Nongjri to solicit their support for the UDP candidate.

Bah Prestone reminds voters of the name and fame of (L) Dr Donkupar Roy due to his long service to the state in general and the Shella Constituency in particular as a tall statesman and dedicated public representative. He said that his party NPP honouring this late leader is campaigning hard for his heir to complete the remaining work of the father.
He then urged the voters to give Balajied a chance this time.
On the part of the UDP leaders thanking MDA partners, NPP and HSPDP for their full support appeal the people in these villages to vote for UDP candidate in this by –election. President Bah Metbah Lyngdoh, ministers from UDP which includes Bah Lahkmen Rymbui and Bah Kyrmen Shylla also spoke in the campaign in the presence of CEM KHADC Bah Teinwell Dkhar, Ranikor MLA Bah Pius Marwein and others.
UDP also covered its campaigning trails Kut Madan, Sohra in which Minister Bah H Brolding Nongsiej, Bah Pyniaid Sing Syiem Deputy CEM KHADC, Bah KP Pangniang President HSPDP, MDC Sohra Bah Titostarwell Chyne, ex-MDC Umsning Bah Donkupar Sumer gave speeches.
