Sngap Syiem College, Mawkyrwat has been neglected by NPP Government, alleged KSU 1

Shillong: The Khasi Student Union South West Khasi Hills District through its Asst. Education Secretary Pulijohn Wanniang, KSU South West Khasi Hills, has criticised the State Government for rejecting to sanction Addl. posts at Sngap Syiem College Mawkyrwat for the teaching and non-teaching as they did to other college in other district. This is an insult to the people of South West Khasi Hills District”.

Sngap Syiem College, Mawkyrwat is the only College in South West Khasi Hills District but the Government adamant attitude has jeopardize the youth in the distrct. The Cabinet meeting recently at Mihmyntdu has sanction 300 posts for 9 colleges in the State, which includes 3 colleges in East and West Jaintia Hills, 1 in Ribhoi District, 2 in West Khasi Hills District and 3 in Garo Hills and sidelined South West Khasi Hills District.
