Traffic signboard in Khasi demanded 1

Shillong: Acting on complaints from Driving License Applicants two NGOs, the All Jaintia Hills Social Welfare Organization (AJHSWO) and Hynniewtrep Student Union (HSU) met the District Transport Officer to demand that all the traffic signboards be written in Khasi so that it will not create any difficulty to the applicants who are semi-literate.

To do justice to such people a multi-lingual signboards which includes Khasi language should be in place they demanded.
