Youth believed to have been murdered, body hid under Coal mine

Jowai: A youth named Nor Dkhar, 35 years old went missing since the 31st of December last year. His body was found under the coal mine near Rangad, East Jaintia Hills.


The youth was suspected to bave been murdered by unknown miscreants. According to sources from the village Mutong, the killers brutally beat the youth before killing him. The police handed over the body to the relatives after the postmortem.
Umtong village through the headman ma H. Phawa condemned the incident and demanded that the culprit be brought to justice.
